Hoi An  tourist city will received more than 2.8 billion VND (US$133,000) from Central government and Quang Nam province for the restoration, repairs and preservation of two ruined ancient houses.

Two houses located at 5 and 16 Nguyen Thai Hoc  street will be granted 716 million VND. Besides, the owners of these two ancient houses will be loaned 2.18 billion VND from province’s investment capital with 0% interest rate to restore and repair. The fund will be allocated from now to  2016.

This support is not only to help to preserve cultural heritages, but also a contribution to the development of tourism in Hoi An ancient town.
