The Ban Hon community-based tourism site of the Lu ethnic minority was launched last week in Ban Hon Commune, Tam Duong District, Lai Chau Province.

The site covers more than 150 households and 100 houses on stilts. The residents still maintain their weaving tradition and cultural ceremonies that visitors can experience and be a part of.

This has been the sixth community-based tourism site of the province.

Located 20km away from Lai Chau Town and on the Northwest arc tourist route, Ban Hon has gradually become a favoured destination of thousands of international tourists every year. — VNS
