Japan’s All Nippon Airways Co. (ANA) on December 9 announced that it will introduce direct flights to Hanoi and Vancouver from Japan for the first time, the Kyodo news agency reported.

The daily round-trip flights from Tokyo’s Haneda airport to these destinations will begin on March 30 next year, along with other daily flights connecting Tokyo with London, Paris and Jakarta.

The airline is also making arrangements to start services linking Haneda airport with China and Germany.

The move follows the decision earlier this year by Japan’s transport ministry to allocate 11 new slots at Haneda airport to ANA./.
