On November 5, the UK’s Archimedes ship, bringing 17 tourists and crew, docked at the Han River, the central coastal city of Da Nang.
Earlier, the ship arrived Van Phong port in Khanh Hoa province and then visited Hon La port, Quang Binh province on its Vietnam coastal route.
This is the second private ship visiting Da Nang over the past three days. On January 3, the UK’s sailing boat Merrymaid docked at Tien Sa Port. However, the sailing boat’s mast is near 30 meters, so it could not pass under Thuan Phuoc bridge to enter the Han river. Five tourists on the Merrymaid were carried on a motor boat to continue their Da Nang – Hoi An tour.
Da Nang schedules to welcome another private boat of a foreigner in the next few days. In a rush of ships to Da Nang, the city plans to develop Han River port into a tourism port and call investment in building a wharf on Nhu Nguyet street./.
