VL016: VIET NAM HIGHLIGHT TRIP (20 DAYS)

 

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL – CAN THO (L, D)

Arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport. Welcome by your local guide and driver. Transfer to Can Tho. Arrive in Can Tho, check in hotel.

Have dinner and overnight in Can Tho.

 

DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – MY THO – HCMC (B, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to My Tho and take a cruise trip in Tien River and see four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, and Phoenix. Enjoy fresh coconut juice.

Boat runs along fish farm for traveler to learn about local people how to feed fish.

Stop at Thoi Son Island, go walking around countryside road, enjoy tropical fruits and listen to traditional music.

To visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea, pip banana wine and many kind of jams.

Take a rowing boat on small canal with water coconut lines and learning about local people’s life.

Come back big Boat, to sail up Tien River to Ben Tre Province. To visit handicraft workshop that are made from coconut wood.

Ride a horse-drawn carriage along country lane Quoi Son Village to seeing orchards and local people’s life.

To Tan Thach Village to visit Coconut Candy workshop come back big Boat. Arrive at port, come back HCMC. Have dinner and overnight in HCMC.

PM: Visit HCMC with: General Post Office, City Hall… Check in your hotel. Have dinner and overnight in HCMC.

 

DAY 3: HCMC – DAMBRI WATERFALL – DA LAT (B, L, D)

AM: After having breakfast, take a bus to Da Lat, have lunch on the way. The first stop-over is Dambri Waterfall – This is a huge waterfall in Lam Dong Province. Have lunch.

PM: Continue transfer to Da Lat City. We will be broken up by stops at some of the tea and coffee plantations.

Arrive at Da Lat, sometimes known as the “City of Eternal Spring” by late afternoon, there will be the chance for a short walk to get a feel for this delightful city.

Check in hotel.  Have dinner and overnight in Dalat city.

 

DAY 4: DA LAT CITY TOUR – MUI NE (B, L, D)

AM: Breakfast early, visit City flower garden, Crazy house, Clay Farm, Datanla Waterfall. Have lunch.

PM: After lunch, transfer to Mui Ne. Arrive in Mui Ne. Check in hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Mui Ne.

 

DAY 5: WHITE SAND DUNE – NHA TRANG – MUD BATH (B, L, D)

AM: Wake up early and transfer to White Sand Dune. Visit sand dune by Jeep. You can see sunrise on sea from here. Then transfer to visit Fishing Market. Come back hotel for breakfast and relaxing

PM: After lunch, transfer to Nha Trang. Arrive in Nha Trang, check in hotel. Relax time at Mud Bath Central.

Have dinner and overnight in Nha Trang.

 

DAY 6: NHA TRANG ISLANDS – CITY TOUR (B, L, D)

AM: After breakfast, transfer to tourist port and take a boat trip to visit Nha Trang Islands.

Tri Nguyen Aquarium. Biology sea inside Neptunes place with hundreds of fishes.

Mot Island

Snorkel on the extraordinary coral reefs which are covered with the multi colored fishes.

Fishing Village

Have lunch with many excellent dishes: Spiced fried shrimps with caramel sauce, fried fish with tomato sauce, vegetable soup with meat, grilled rib spring rolls and softly sauté noodles.

Let enjoy the special live shows of the FUNKY MONKEY BOY BAND.

Happy hour: Have a cup of cocktail with a piece of pineapple, you will be able cheer with your friends at the FUNKY MONKEY FLOATING BAR.

Tranh Mini beach:  Relax and join beach sport or laze on the beach.

Entertain with water sport activities such as: Parasailing, Jetski, Bananas Buoy, … (excluded)

PM: Come back  city and visit Chong Promontory (Two big rocks called husband & wife rock) and Ponagar Tower built in 8th century.

Have dinner and overnight in Nha Trang.

 

DAY 7: NHA TRANG – QUY NHON – XEP BEACH – DA DIA REEF (B, L, D)

AM: After breakfast, transfer to Quy Nhon. You will have time relax on car and see nice seacoast during trip from Nha Trang to Quy Nhon. Have lunch on the way.

PM: Stop over for visit Xep Beach, Ganh Da Dia (Cliff of Stone Plates) with natural stones, strangely structured rocks, columns or oblique of frozen mineral flows…continue to Quy Nhon City check in hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Quy Nhon.

 

DAY 8: QUY NHON – MY SON HOLLY-LAND – HOI AN (B, L, D)

AM: Have breakfast and check out your hotel. Transfer to Hoi An. Have lunch on the way.

PM: Stop-over for visit My Son holly land, the site of the most important Cham intellectual and religious center during the 4th to 13th century, considered as the World Heritage.

Arrive at Hoi An, check in your hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Hoi An.

 

DAY 9: HOI AN – COCONUT FARM – HOI AN (B, L, D)

AM: After early breakfast, transfer to Coconut farm and try the renowned Vietnamese basket boats.

PM: Come back town and walking to visit Hoi An ancient town (charming and wonderfully preserved, combining Chinese, Japanese and European influences).

Dinner and Overnight in Hoi An.

 

DAY 10: HOI AN – BA NA HILLS – HUE (B, L, D)

AM: After breakfast, transfer to Da Nang to visit Ba Na Hills. We arrive at the top of Bana Hills easily by cable car (World’s longest cable car) and start to visit: Golden Bridge, Linh Ung Pagoda, Fantasy Park…Have buffet lunch.

PM: Transfer to Hue. Arrive at Hue, check in hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Hue.

DAY 11: HUE CITY (B, L, D)

AM: Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, which is situated on Ha Khe Hill, 5km from center of Hue City. Visit Tu Duc Tomb.

PM: visiting Hue Capital citadel – The grand palace of the last dynasty of Nguyen with Principal Gate, Royal Citadel, Forbidden Citadel, the Flag Tower, and Horne Palace…

After dinner enjoy Hue folk-song on a dragon boat trip in Perfume River…Overnight in Hue.

 

DAY 12: HUE – THIEN DUONG CAVE – PHONG NHA CAVE (B, L, D)

AM: After breakfast, transfer to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park – The World Heritage in Viet Nam, visit Paradise Cave. Paradise Cave dubbed as “underground palace” Heaven is one of the wonders of the magnificent and magical world most.

Have lunch.

PM: Take a boat cruise on the Son River to visit Phong Nha Cave.

Then leave to Dong Hoi, check in hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Dong Hoi.

 

DAY 13: DONG HOI – HA NOI (B, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to Ha Noi. Have lunch on the way.

Arrive at Ha Noi, check in hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Ha Noi.

 

DAY 14: HA NOI – SA PA – FANSIPAN (B, L, D)

AM: After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Sa Pa on Ha Noi  – Lao Cai Highway. Arrive at Sa Pa, have lunch.

PM: Visit Silver Waterfall, then continue to visit the world’s longest three-rope cable car system, extending from the northern Lao Cai Province’s Sapa Town to Fansipan peak. Come back Sa Pa town. Check in Hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Sa Pa.

 

DAY 15: TA PHIN – CAT CAT VILLAGE (B, L, D)

AM: After breakfast, check out and transfer to visit Ta Phin Village.

Ta Phin village is home to the ethnic majority Red Dao and H’mong people with famous brocatelle weaving & herbal bath. Ta Phin is also a famous destination for trekking tours. Lunch time.

PM: Visit Cat Cat Village and Tien Sa Waterfall.

After dinner, free time for shopping at town.

Overnight in Sa Pa.

 

DAY 16: LAO CHAI – TA VAN VILLAGE – HANOI (B, L, D)

AM: After breakfast, transfer to Lao Chai village then trek to Ta Van village to visit Dzay minority. Have lunch at Ta Van Village.

PM: Come back Hanoi. Dinner and overnight in Ha Noi.

 

DAY 17: HA NOI – HA LONG (B, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to Ha Long. On arrival at Halong City, we transfer to a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. Check-in registration boat. Have sea food lunch.

Enjoy a fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay to see Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi islet, Dog islet, visit Sung Sot Cave and swim at Titov beach.

Have dinner on board while watching sunset. Spend a romantic night on junk.

 

DAY 18: HA LONG – HA NOI (B, L, D)

AM: 07.00: Cakes, fruits, tea and coffee will be served. Kayaking or taking bamboo boat around Luon Cave.

Check out and continue the cruise through Ha Long Bay. Then we come back Ha Long City. Have lunch at Floating restaurant.

Arrive in Ha Noi, check in hotel. Have dinner and overnight in Ha Noi.

 

DAY 19: HA NOI CITY TOUR (B, L, D)

AM: After breakfast, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and One Pillar Pagoda. Then visit The Temple of Literature – The first University of Vietnam. Have lunch.

PM: Visit Hoan Kiem Lake and The Huc Bridge. End of tour, we go around Hanoi Old Quarter by trishaw. You have free time for shopping.

Enjoy buffet dinner at Sen Restaurant and overnight in Ha Noi.

 

DAY 20: DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Noi Bai International Airport to catch home flight. Tour ends.
