13:00 Enjoy specially prepared lunch while cruising towards thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from emerald water, passing by Stone Dog islet, floating fishing village, incense burner islet, fighting cocks islet…

08:15 Pick up at Bungalow by boat (in case you stay at the hotel in Catba Town: 07:00 Breakfast at the hotel. 07:30 Pick-up at the hotel by bus back to the boat).

09:30 Get on the cruise to attend the cooking class while cruising back Halong harbor.

11:15 Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor around 12:00 and get on the bus back to Ha Noi.

17:00 Transfer you back to your hotel.

Arrive at Lao Cai Station early morning, our bus takes you to Sa Pa. Have breakfast.
Then you start the trip on foot to explore the Cat Cat Villages of ethnic Hmong, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minotities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Visitors will also understand culture, unique customs, traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, forged agricultural tools…

 

 

12:00: Pick up from Cat Cat Village and back to Sa Pa town. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant then you are free for shopping and overnight in Sa Pa at the hotel.

Arrive in Bac Ha. You will see many flower H’mong people, they are friendly and hospitable. Items on sale in the market include water buffalos, pigs, horses and chickens…etc.
PM: Come back Sa Pa town. Have dinner and overnight in Sa Pa.

DAY 8: HOA LU & TAM COC (B, L)
AM: Arrive at Ha Noi railway Station early morning, our taxi picks you up to restaurant for breakfast.
8:00 – 8:30 Guide & driver will pick you up in Ha Noi Old Quarter and leave by coach to Hoa Lu (2.5 hrs). Visit the historic capital of Viet Nam and the famous ancient temples of Le and the Dinh Dynasties. Then you take bus from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc for lunch around at 12:30.
PM: After lunch, boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of many caves carved through the limestone. Cycle for an hour on quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops in Tam Coc – Bich Dong (around 5 km). Back to Ha Noi by bus and arrive at your hotel around at 18:00.

DAY 9: HA NOI CITY TOUR (B, L)
AM: 08:00 – 08:30 Pick up at your hotel to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 – the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. We continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist – dating from the Ly Dynasty) and the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda near the West Lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam). Visit Bat Trang pottery village (on Mon, Wed & Fri). Have lunch.
PM: After lunch, you visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. You have chance to see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 – its gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Then you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. For the last part of the tour, you have time for shopping and watching Water puppet show before coming back your hotel.

Lunch at the local restaurant at the bottom of the mountain.
